Glendive Medical Center to Host Community Blood Draw

Glendive, Montana, February 6, 2018 - Glendive Medical Center (GMC) has announced they will hold a community blood draw on February 15, 16, and 20 in the Carney Center from 7am - 11 am.

The blood draw guarantees lab results will be in electronic medical records for patients of Glendive Medical Center. "We are always striving for patient satisfaction and we received a lot of concerns last year due to the unavailability of patient's results in their electronic medical record," stated Jill Domek, Vice President of Clinical Services, "the lab work will be processed in our GMC laboratory to ensure our patient's convenience and satisfaction is maintained."

A larger selection of panels at reduced costs is available including: Wellness $35, PSA $20, Anemia with Vitamin D $30, and A1C $15. "We are pleased to add Vitamin D testing to this year's panel as research has shown that lower levels of Vitamin D, which are typically prevalent in northern parts of the country like ours, can cause depression and fatigue, among other serious problems," stated Amanda Gillespie, GMC Lab Manager.

GMC staff is preparing for an influx of patients and therefore appointments will be quick and convenient. Patients can walk-in at any time all three days or can call to register a specific time slot between 8am and 11am at 345-2624 or 345-3364.
