GMC HIRES HOSPITALIST

Glendive, Montana, April 16, 2012 - Glendive Medical Center (GMC) is pleased to announce that Clifford Reske, MD, has joined the medical staff at GMC as a Hospitalist. Dr. Reske is board certified and specializes in internal medicine. "I look forward to the opportunity to live and serve the people in eastern Montana," Dr. Reske said.

Dr. Reske earned his degree in medicine from Indiana University in 1990. He completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Vincent Hospitals in Indianapolis, Indiana. While in Indiana, Dr. Reske spent 17 years practicing Emergency Medicine at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood, Indiana and served at Community Hospitals in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Dr. Reske has served in the United States Navy Reserves for 14 years, and is currently a Navy Reserve Commander. During his military service, Dr. Reske has been assigned to various Unites States Marine Corps units as a Navy physician. He was deployed to Iraq in 2004 with the 3rd Battalion 24th Marines (Infantry) as an Assistant Battalion Surgeon and most recently served as a Battalion Surgeon with the 1st Battalion 24th Marines (Infantry). In 2010, Dr. Reske was deployed to Germany to work at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) until 2011, where he served wounded soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan. 

Dr. Reske has received special training as an Undersea Medical Officer (UMO) and as a Driving Medical Officer (DMO), received Fleet Hospital Training and has served as the Senior Medical Officer for the Deployed Warrior Medical Management Center (DWWMC). Dr. Reske also completed his Flight Surgeon training in February 2012.
