Gabert Clinic Now Offering Vaccinations

Glendive, Montana, January 16, 2015 - The office of Internist and Pediatrician Dr. Chrystal Potter now offers vaccinations for patients from infancy through adulthood. "The addition of Dr. Potter to Gabert Clinic initiated a new era in patient care with the development of a comprehensive vaccination program. We are excited that Dr. Potter will now be offering this," Glendive Medical Center CEO Parker Powell said.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that there are 322 million illnesses, hospitalizations and deaths prevented by on time, scheduled vaccinations for children from birth to 18 years. The added advantage of having vaccinations available for all patients at their primary care office is unquestionable.

"Our ability to provide vaccinations during well child check-ups is a huge benefit for parents and the healthcare of their children," said Dr. Potter. Available vaccines for children include the standard vaccines offered for infants and toddlers along with those given prior to entering kindergarten and 6th grade. "This is an important service for any pediatrician to offer and I appreciate the willingness and support that clinic management provided in the development of this program," said Dr. Potter.

The initial phase of introducing the vaccination program is now complete and immunizations are now available at the office of Dr. Potter by appointment. For more information or to make an appointment, call 406-345-8901.
