GMC Hires Eastern Montanan Pediatrician

Glendive, Montana, March 7, 2017 grGlendive Medical Center (GMC) is pleased to announce pediatrician John Harris, MD will join the GMC medical staff on February 6, 2017. "It is an honor to be able to continue my long standing commitment to caring for the children and families in the communities of Eastern Montana," shares Dr. Harris. "I am grateful for the opportunity to join my colleagues at GMC and to become an active community member in Glendive."

Dr. Harris earned his undergraduate degree at Montana State University in Bozeman and then received his Medical Technologist and Registered Microbiologist certifications at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. He then earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan and completed his residency at the Phoenix Hospital Affiliated Pediatrics Program in Phoenix, Arizona. 

Dr. Harris has practiced pediatric medicine for the last 24 years. Most recently, he has worked at Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City, Montana and Progressive Pediatrics in Clarkston, Washington. Dr. Harris will be collaborating with GMC pediatrician Dr. Potter to provide both inpatient and outpatient services. Additionally, Dr. Harris will bring pediatric services to our surrounding communities at outreach clinics at several sites in Eastern Montana.
