Glendive Medical Center to Host Annual Tree of Lights Ceremony

Glendive Holiday Tradition: Every Light has a Story.
Glendive Medical Center (GMC) invites the community to gather for its annual Tree of Lights Ceremony on Thursday, December 3, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Carney Center at GMC.
Every light on the Tree of Lights represents a loved one remembered, a cherished story and a life that continues to hold meaning. This special holiday tradition brings the community together to honor those who have touched our lives while supporting the compassionate care provided by GMC Hospice.
This free community event will include a presentation, a holiday musical performance, and a community meal featuring chili, cinnamon rolls and cornbread muffins.
Community members are invited to honor someone special through a donation to the Hospice Tree of Lights:
- Angel — $25: The name of your loved one will be displayed on the Tree of Lights.
- Candle — $10: The name of your loved one will be displayed on theTree of Lights.
- Keepsake Ornament — $40: A wooden angel engraved with “2026 Tree of Lights” and your loved one’s name. Ornaments will be available for pickup following the event.
After event expenses, all proceeds benefit the GMC Hospice Fund, which supports the program’s greatest needs and helps ensure compassionate end-of-life care for patients and families throughout the Glendive area.
The deadline to place orders is November 23, 2026. Donations can be made online at gmc.org or in person at the GMC Foundation office.
Glendive Medical Center welcomes the community to be part of this meaningful tradition of remembrance, generosity and hope. Whether honoring someone dearly missed or supporting families receiving hospice care, each light serves as a reminder that love and memories continue to shine.
